Morningside: Convenience At Every Turn

The suburb of Morningside has everything an active, on-the-go resident needs. People living at Morningside gush about all the local restaurants, cafes, seafood market, and pubs. Also in abundance are parking spaces, supermarkets, gyms, public and private schools, and easy access to the airport and motorway. A variety of public transport are available to Morningside residents, from bus to rail to ferry. All of this happens just to be 4 km outside of Brisbane CBD.

Some parts of Morningside have excellent city views, too. Lovers of the outdoors and sports will enjoy Balmoral Park, Beelarong Community Farm, Morningside Tennis Centre, and Queensland State Hockey Centre. Balmoral State School is located here. The suburb has its own station, Morningside Station, a quick walk way from Wynnum Road, where numerous restaurants can be found as well as the shopping centre Morningside Central. Another major shopping centre is Colmslie Plaza on Junction Road and has The Colmslie Hotel, a popular pub. For added character, the suburb is home to a few heritage sites, such as the Balmoral Fire Station and Morningside Air Raid Shelter.
