Chapel Hill: Feel Close to Nature
Just 7 km from Brisbane CBD is a leafy, green suburb, Chapel Hill. With many schools nearby, many residents here are families with children. Chapel Hill can be described as a green suburb with its many old eucalyptus and native plants on terrain that leads to the protected reserve of Mount Coot-tha. Residents here can find picturesque walking and hiking trails. One popular spot is the Green Hill Reservoir, an off leash area for dogs, with great views of the city.
While there are no major shopping centres in the suburb, the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive away and Kenmore Village is also nearby. Many transport options are also available and residents can find easy access to the airport and freeways to get to Gold Coast. Overall, Chapel Hill is a relaxed little community if you want to come home to a quiet place that’s not too far from the city.
